What types of doctors do professional sports teams employ?

I know that pro sports teams such as nfl teams employ doctors. What types of doctors and how many?

1. Depends on the sport and team. Most have a sports doctor and/or an orthopedist.
2. most of the sports teams employ a sports doctor, physio, orthopaed. specialists. This because with alot team injuries; they tend to be stretched, pulled and impact based. It all depends on the sport on how big the injury is. With the NFL, there is the NFL physcians society which has 134 members for the 32 teams. Hope this helps.
