How do the World Cup Quidditch teams work in Harry Potter? I'm a little confused on the World Cup teams for Harry Potter. In Goblet of Fire the World Cup game is between Bulgaria and Ireland, but Quidditch Through the Ages doesn't list any teams that are from a whole country. Are the national teams the winning team from that country, or sort of an All-Star team with the countries best players, or something completely different?
math problem. In a warehouse there are 3 work teams of pickers A, B, C of different skills.find the % of..? In a warehouse there are 3 work teams of pickers A, B, C of different skills. Team A prepares 25% of the total orders, team B prepares 45% of the total orders and team C prepares the rest of the orders. After statistical analysis that was carried out in each team it came out that team A makes 1.5% errors, team B makes 1% errors and team C makes 1.8% errors. What is the percentage of the total erroneous orders prepared by team C? Should I use Bayes' Theorem or another one?
How do the rosters work when MLB teams complete a suspended game? I read that tomorrow, the Yankees and Orioles are resuming a previously suspended game, in the 8th inning with runners on base and A-Rod on deck, etc. How does the roster work in those games? Presumably, both teams have traded, optioned, and waived players who were on their roster at that time. What if the guy on 2nd base got traded? Or if the Orioles pitcher now plays for the Yankees? It didn't happen here, but suppose it did. Can a player wind up playing for both teams in the same game? Who gets to play and who doesn't?
How do High School golf teams work? I am thinking about trying out for my high school golf team. i am a freshman and i shoot a average 75 78. And i was wondering how it all works is it a team or do you play your team?
How do formula one test tracks work. do teams have to pay to use them. is ferrari the only one with their own? i am trying to understand formula one and am confused about test tracks. is the test driver's job just to test the cars and feed comments into its development, or does the test driver do more. does ferrari have an advantage over all of the other teams in that it has its own test track and so does not have to pay. do teams have to pay to use test tracks. does anyone else have their own test tracks. what stops teams clubbing together to build their own test track
How does a fantasy head-to-head league work? Do I set my teams once a week? I am unclear on how to play with yahoo's fantasy NBA head-to-head leagues. I know with roto, you get 82 games/position, but how does it work with head-to-head? Do I set my team by Monday, and I can't change it all week, or do I get a certain number of games per position that week? Help is appreciated. Thanks!
How do you work out a cricket teams total? Whats the formula to do it? Sorry, to expand on that a bit more. Usually it is just runRate * totalOvers (6*50 = 300). What i'm looking for it something like, if a team is on 225 runs after 43 overs, what will they end up at if they go at 8 runs per over for the last 7 overs etc?
How do the seeds work in determining where teams play? I know Dallas and GB are the number 1 and 2 seeds. And assuming it stays this way, both Dallas and GB have a first round bye and play at home. Is it predetermined what seed plays where? Hypothetically if the Vikings take the last seed and win their first round playoff game, where would they play?
How are college rodeo teams picked? the selection process? the competitions? how does this work? Hi, so i love rodeo, but i really know nothing about college rodeo. How do the schools select the teams? how hard is the competition for places on these teams? i'm interested in barrel racing and goat tying: do/can team members use their own horse, the school's horse, a leased horse? how do the competitions work (entries, transportation, etc)? how do practices work :)? any other info that would be relevent...thanks!!!
How does the NCAA work out home schedules for football teams? Michigan gets 8 home games and 4 away this year. Ohio State gets 7 home and 5 away. Notre Dame gets 7 home and 5 away. Several other teams also have 7 home and 5 away. Why isn't the home-away schedule even like in most other sports? Does it seem fair that these big name teams get to play in their gigantic and loud stadiums? And I don't care how Michigan is doing and how it doesn't seem to matter this year but it's been going on for awhile. I remember not too long ago Ohio State had something like 9 home games! How is that fair? (not picking on Ohio State or Michigan, these are just the quickest examples I can think of)
Do you know the abuse team and the answers teams don't work together? If you get an e-mail from another Answers user, and it is abusive, stupid, otherwise unwanted, you can use abuse@yahoo, just like any other e-mail. If you don't send headers, they request them. This is dumb, because the e-mail is forwarded through yahoo, and the headers reflect that. So you send the headers, and they send you information on how to block the user. Whooped-ding, if the user changes identity, he just e-mails you again. When you complain, they ask for headers again, and tell you how to block the user, but they do nothing else, and they don't seem to understand it is not enough! My question is, has anybody else experienced the same runaround, and, if so, what were you able to do about it?
